Accessibility
Updated October 15, 2026
We want VisitPlay’s website, operator tools, and games to be usable by people with disabilities. Our target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. We are still reviewing and improving the service; this statement is not a claim of full conformance.
Using VisitPlay
- Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls. Use Enter for links and Enter or Space for buttons. The website’s skip link lets you move past its navigation to the main content. In Safari for Mac, use Option+Tab to reach links, or enable “Press Tab to highlight each item on a webpage” in Safari’s Advanced settings. See Safari’s keyboard shortcuts.
- You can enlarge text with your browser’s zoom or text-size settings. Your device’s reduced motion setting can limit supported game animations.
- Games do not require a VisitPlay account or location permission. To open a sign without using a camera, enter the web address printed beside its QR code in your browser. Ask attraction staff for help with a sign you cannot locate or use.
- Open the game while connected before visiting an area with weak signal. Offline play depends on that browser having saved the game’s pages and resources; a new browser or installed app may have separate storage. Games with an offline preparation control can prepare those resources while you are connected.
Report an accessibility barrier
If something prevents you from using VisitPlay, email hello@visitplay.app. Tell us which page or game you were using, what you were trying to do, and what happened. Your browser, device, and assistive technology can help us reproduce the problem if you are comfortable sharing them. You do not need to disclose a disability or medical information. Please do not send passwords or a child’s personal information.
You can also ask for help accessing the information or completing the task in another way. We will review the barrier and discuss the available options with you.
Current review and limits
Our checks include keyboard interactions, visible focus, reduced-motion behavior, text enlargement, browser save recovery, and offline routing. Automated browser tests help us catch regressions, but they do not replace testing with screen readers or people using their own devices. That broader review is still ongoing.
Attractions control their terrain, sign placement, game text, and linked websites. Ask the attraction about physical access and alternatives before your visit. Report a problem in VisitPlay’s software to us using the contact above.
